Re: setting Wikipedia software up for personal use. Honestly, it's probably more heavyweight than you need; consider something a little simpler to set up like UseModWiki, which is just one or two files and perl.
You can get the current Wikipedia sources via anonymous CVS, you don't need a sourceforge account (and if you did, hey they're free). See m:How to become a Wikipedia hacker for details. --Brion 23:21 Mar 12, 2003 (UTC)
