Added link to Wakefield history. Just figured what the Summary space is for.

Cleaned up the introduction to assume less. Expanded description of indoor models. I suggest that subsidiary pages be created for the categories of model.

This page definitely deserves creation of descriptive pages for the categories of model, with some illustrative imagary. Perhaps the following organization would work:

- Gliders (towline and hand-launched, perhaps indoor and outdoor combined)

- Outdoor rubber (with sections on Wakefield, unlimited rubber, scale, and the "odd" categories.

- Outdoor power (with sections on F1C, scale, quarter scale, and the others together

- Indoor (with sections on the FAI events, the scale events, and the other events)

Somewhere there should be links to the various history sites, the various national governing body sites, and the special interest group sites. -- David Erbach (June 2006)

A walkalong glider is stable in flight but is sustained by an updraft from a paddle held by the pilot who follows and steers the plane. How about adding another category under "Gliders", say "towline, hand-launched and walkalongs"? -- pgr0
