- ... that Roger Waters thought The Phantom of the Opera's main theme was ripped off from Pink Floyd's "Echoes"? Source: "The song largely hangs on the iconic riff, often played via a gruesome church organ, that starts the track, and it is this riff that Waters claims to be a direct rip off of the Pink Floyd song, using the time signature to the same devastating effect." - @Ritchie333: the article reached GA status on 2 December, far surpasses the minimum length, sourcing is naturally excellent. Neutrality issues and plagiarism have not been detected. The hook is sufficiently short and definitely interesting. The fact is in the article and is backed up by the content of a reliable source. QPQ by the nominator confirmed. There is one small issue that I'd like to raise before I waive this through: would it be better to have another preposition before after "was ripped of"? Perhaps 'ripped off from' or 'ripped off of'?
