Discussion of 'original' article

This is such a trivial article that I, personally, would suggest it be merged with the main Monaco article and this link deleted. -- April here, here m.e. 09:27, 9 Jul 2004 (UTC)

On 29 July 2004, this article was nominated for deletion. The decision reached was to redirect it to Monaco. See Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Military of Monaco for a record of the discussion. Rossami 00:40, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)

The 2004 decision was undoubtedly correct - there was no point in the one line reference which previously occupied this page. However, the other solution would have been to check the sources available and see whether a more substantial article was possible - it seems to me that it certainly is, and I offer this as a start...
