User talk:Pachuco2
Hello Pachuco2 and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- To sign your posts (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
- Try the Tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk
- Follow the Wikipedia:Simplified Ruleset
- Eventually, you might want to read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- Remember Wikipedia:Neutral point of view
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!
Anthotype
[edit]Hi, I added the previous history of Anthotype (from the Talk:Sample article page) onto Anthotype's history, as on Wikipedia we really like to keep edit histories. (For future reference, there is a "move this page" link which you should always use, rather than cut-n-paste, to move a page.) However. I fear that in the process, through a mistake in performing the procedure (this was the first time I had done a history merge - sigh, live and learn), I might have lost your most recent edit (at 00:10, 16 Oct 2004). Alas, I hadn't saved a copy of the most recent article source offline (a precaution I will take in the future - sigh, live and learn again). I had saved a copt of the text, and carefully checked it against what's there now, and I didn't see any changes. However, you might have added a link, or did a one-character typo substitution fix, and my check wouldn't have found those. You might want to quickly look at the article (or, even better, if you remember what you did, re-do it). Sorry about that... Noel (talk) 16:41, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)
PS: Wikipedia style is that people generally reply on the User_Talk: page of the person who wrote a message to them - that way, someone doesn't have to monitor a whole long list of User_Talk: pages (one for each person whom they are having a "conversation" with).
