Unremarkable school in unremarkable medium-sized district. Not encyclopedic. Unless there is proof that Moses went there, Delete. Rlquall 21:25, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Article isn't about the school, it's about the Mount Sinai School District. Nothing in the article establishes any uniqueness or notability for the district. The article forthrightly states that its three sentences are "from about the district" making it technically a copyvio. [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 23:34, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC) Note: entire contents of article as of this writing:
- The Mount Sinai School District has a current population estimated at 11,000 with a student population of 2,200. We are located on the north shore of Long Island (New York), approximately 65 miles east of New York City. The District covers an area of approximately six square miles." from about the district

- Abstain. Which is it, is the article about the high school or the school district? I think the original author must have been confused. —[[User:Radman1|RaD Man (talk)]] 07:24, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Retitle to indicate it's the district, clean up. Or merge to the relevant town. We shouldn't be getting rid of all this school stuff (Rambot gives far worse), just merging it into things major enough to merit articles. -- Jmabel | Talk 08:09, Dec 1, 2004 (UTC)
- I rather disagree. Rambot is bad, but at least it combines several datasources to make a skeleton for a correctly-titled article. Most school articles have improper names, facts from a single source (if that—some are clearly off the top of heads), and serve no use for future editors. Someone working with rambot output adds to it. Anyone working with this rubbish would have to start over. In other words: it does not help us, but it does make us look bad. - Merge relevant info to Long Island and delete - Skysmith 10:15, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: Rambot is his own discussion. Article is misnamed. I don't have a problem with a Schools of New York City or Schools of Long Island with tabular data, so, if this had been Mount Sinai, New York, school district, and if it weren't copyvio, and it listed all the schools in the district with the usual data, I wouldn't grouse. As it is, delete. Geogre 15:44, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Incorrectly titled, and clearly quoting enmasse from another website. Average Earthman 16:30, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Transwiki to newly created wikischools, to which every single example of this "This school is notable as it has 2000 pupils" bullshit can be sent, and then cheerfully forgotten about -- as it so richly deserves. -- GWO 16:38, 1 Dec 2004 (UTC)

- Transwiki. Unnotable, uninformative for an encyclopedia, mistitled and plagiarized to boot. Surely a Mount Sinai High student or faculty member working on Wikischools can do better than this. - Lucky 6.9 23:34, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Redirect to Mount Sinai School District, which I have taken the liberty of creating without copyvios. The Steve 01:23, Dec 3, 2004 (UTC)
- And a damned nice creation it is. Short yet totally encyclopedic. Keep as redirect. - Lucky 6.9 21:41, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)
