- There are hundreds of articles here from the Catholic Encyclopedia in Category:Based on Catholic Encyclopedia (and probably others not included in the category). We have the same situation (a site claiming copyright for an online edition of an old PD printed secondary source) with the old Jewish Encyclopedia. IANAL, but it appears that de facto Wikipedia policy is to regard these modern copyright claims as invalid. / Uppland 09:11, 14 Apr 2005 (UTC)
