[edit]I don't agree with this article, there are two Alresfords in England, one in Essex and the one the article is about. The map shows the location of Alresford, Essex. I think this should be amended and also mention given to Alresford, Essex.
- Thanks for pointing this out - it should be correct now. Lupin 03:30, 7 May 2005 (UTC)

I want to point out that its not called "New Alresford" its actually called just "Alresford"
If you look at the signs when you enter Alresford, It does not have "new" anywhere on the sign.
Could Someone check that I'm right, because I'm interested to know why they don't seem to label it "New" in the town. theboywhohasnolegs 21:29 30 December 2006(UTC)
I have never heard it referred to locally as 'New' Alresford. The Town Sign says Alresford, as there is 'Old' Alresford, I presume 'New' is not required. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bettybutt (talk • contribs) 05:49, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
why does it have "new " alresford as it is not new alresford it is just alresford

[edit]Unless someone can demonstrate that former prime minister David Lloyd-George, or any of his family, lived in Alresford, I consider that the nonsensical-looking sentence "David Lloyd George's great-grandson David Lloyd George was the UK's prime minister during the first world war" is an irrelevancy and should be deleted.Cloptonson (talk) 20:14, 19 March 2012 (UTC)

Coat of Arms
[edit]I have added the Coat of Arms of New Alresford to the infobox. This file was originally uploaded for use on the page Alresford Town FC, but as per the Town Council Website is identical to the Council's, and therefore appropriate here as well. BryceIII (talk) 13:15, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
