Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Revision of borders of Poland (1945)
Revision of borders of Poland (1945) was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was to keep.
Another apparently lost/orphaned VfD nom, as the tag was added March 23, but there doesn't seem to be a vote page, and it's not on "old". Not sure topic needs its own article, but European history isn't really my thing. Procedural nom/abstain. Niteowlneils 22:04, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Significant (try revising your country's borders!), controversial and encyclopedic. Article needs some NPOV work but is already tagged. Might be better titled; perhaps "Revision of borders of Poland, 1945" or "Polish border revision, 1945". Samaritan 22:36, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Topic is quite notable. Article is decent, but needs some work on avoiding POV and grammar. I volunteer to clean up the article should it survive VfD and someone remind me at that time. --Improv 00:27, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, enough reason is already given. GRider\talk 00:34, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, but this topic is already covered in a number of other articles (I added wikilinks to them in "Related articles" section) and needs much cleanup. -- Kpalion 01:09, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keeps (agree with what Kpalion said above). Halibutt 07:25, Nov 18, 2004 (UTC)
- I venture that a very interesting article could be made of all of the historic (and often catastrophic) changes to Poland's borders. Keep or include in such an article. --jpgordon{gab} 18:03, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep it. —RaD Man (talk) 21:07, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)
