[edit]Maybe it's just me being slow-minded, but this article doesn't make any sense. What are "stacks"? And why was the library only open for 2 hours a day???
-- Good point! Stacks are just the shelves of books; I updated that to make more sense and also provided a reference. Gwenglazer (talk) 21:00, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
That picture is pretty awful, besides being confusing and inaccurate. Any better ones on hand? Nekkensj 20:34, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
stub class
[edit]A pity that such an eminent building and organization has a stub after all these years. wikiproject libraries should start assessing these articles! +sj + 00:04, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
- Agreed, have been doing some.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 16:54, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
Proposed merge with Rose Goldsen Archive of New Media Art
[edit]insufficient for separate article; best merged DGG ( talk ) 19:29, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
I just updated the Goldsen Archive's entry and clarified its place as part of Cornell University Library. Gwenglazer (talk) 20:32, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
I added at /* Significant collections */ the "Rose Goldsen Archive of New Media Art" wikilink and links for a few special collections of this archive. EVDiam (talk) 21:37, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
@ DGG and Gwenglazer: The Rose Goldsen Archive of New Media Art article has been expanded. I think it doesn't need to be merged with this article anymore. What do you think? EVDiam (talk) 15:58, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
- The content added is insignificant. General information about preserving library material, list of their holdings, conditions for access. This all belongs on their web site., not an encycopedia . I am considering listing this for deletion. DGG ( talk ) 20:56, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
- As there has been no deletion proposal, I've merged in. Klbrain (talk) 17:12, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
