Dance game?
[edit]I don't believe this game belongs in the dance computer games category or should be described as a "dancing video game." Although it is a music game, it is played with a normal hand-held controller. All other games in the category (that I can see) are intended to be played with a dance pad, or motion sensors. Bust a Groove is more similar to PaRappa the Rapper in gameplay than to Dance Dance Revolution. Please correct me if I'm wrong and there's a version of the game that involves physical dancing. Otherwise, I'm going to move it to the rhythm game category. --LostLeviathan 08:37, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- I've altered the article so that it now describes the game more appropriately as a hybrid music/fighting game. --LostLeviathan 20:42, 8 Dec 2004 (UTC)
PS2 and DS?
[edit]Why are playstation 2 and nintendo DS included in the categories?
Sequels
[edit]I think more info is needed on the sequels. Bust A Move/Groove 2 only gets a small mention, and Dance Summit 2001 is nowhere to be seen.
Gameplay
[edit]Why isn't there a section about gameplay? Isn't that what video games are about?
Fair use rationale for Image:Bustagroovecover.jpg
[edit]Image:Bustagroovecover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 15:50, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
700 Years old
[edit]I don't believe that Pinky Diamond is 700 years old. I reverted it back to "unknown" Akira Tomosuke 06:52, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Requested Move
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the proposal was Do not move (WP:MOSTM) Anthony Appleyard (talk) 16:35, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- The official title of the game is Bust A Groove and not having a small letter 'a', as stated by the back cover of the game and the Official website.--JCD (Talk) 23:59, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- Oppose - WP:MOSTM seems to contradict this; we title articles according to correct English rules, not how companies style themselves and their products. Parsecboy (talk) 00:48, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- I see, I'm not absolutely aware of it. I agree. I will undo the request move.--JCD (Talk) 03:50, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Singers?
[edit]Who are the singers of the musics in the game ? i mean, it's a "musical game" after all, and that, some of the most important information in a game like this, is nowhere to be seen maybe the Japanese Wikipedia has the list, but, you know, it's not like everyone knows how to read Japanese 189.60.155.246 (talk) 16:19, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
