Florence Nightingale Nursing School

[edit]

It is not the first secular nursing school in the world. La Source High School of Nursing in Lausanne, Switzerland holds that title, having been established in 1859. Nightingale's school was established in 1860.

Nightingale - incorrect category

[edit]

Hi, I don't have permission to edit this page.

Please could someone remove Category:Fellows of the Royal College of Nursing

RCN fellowships did not begin until the 1970s and have not been awarded post-death. Nightingale precedes the creation of the RCN (1916) and was not/has never been an RCN fellow

Misleading Category

[edit]

Please could someone with permissions remove 'Nurses from London' category and replace with British nurses ? Nightingale was born in Florence and spent much of her life in Derbyshire and Hampshire, so for London to 'claim' her seems a little odd ;) Many thanks 101TAD (talk) 17:12, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
