Black Panther'a family tree
[edit]I tried, but I can't edit satisfactorily and I wanted to make some changes: Azari T'Challa T'Chaka does not appear as T'Challa and Ororo's son, just as I wanted to include Nakia and their son in the MCU and now Okyoe as his wife in the Ultimate Universe. Includes in the known Black Panthers, T'Chanda's parents: M'Teli and Imandla, but I couldn't put them in the tree. Hyju (talk) 11:15, 13 February 2024 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Bob Papenbrook
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Bob Papenbrook requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SpringProof (talk • contribs)

Space between
[edit]Please do a favor to stop removing the space between infobox and lead paragraph of Avatar: The Last Airbender (2024 TV series). You did it twice this month. Regards, 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 03:37, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- This is my reply to @98Tigerius. I don't know where the WP on this website that talks about that is located. I haven't had any other issues from the other editors on this website about that before. If there is one, would you mind pointing that out for me so that I can understand your claim. I'm just asking here. Rtkat3 (talk) 04:00, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
April 2024
[edit]Hi,
I've removed part of the info that you had recently added to the X-Men '97 article, since the supporting reference [1] only mentions Wolverine and the X-Men (TV series) and says nothing about Marvel Anime: X-Men.
Thanks, David O. Johnson (talk) 20:43, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
- This is my reply to @David O. Johnson. Even though the link doesn't mention Marvel Anime: X-Men, there should've been at least an honorable mention to where Jennifer Hale had last voiced Jean Grey in a TV series even though this sequel project uses a mix of Los Angeles voice actors and Toronto voice actors in a way that was different from "The Mutant Agenda" episode of Spider-Man. The article List of Beetleborgs monsters has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unreferenced Fancruft article about an un-encyclopedic topic that the general population would have no interest in, similar to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Zords
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
List of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power characters
[edit]Multiple times now you have made major changes to the formatting of this page. Now that there is an established format here and I have challenged major undiscussed changes to it, please take further concerns and suggestions to the talk page so they can be discussed first. Thanks, adamstom97 (talk) 14:36, 31 August 2024 (UTC)
- This is my reply to @Adamstom.97. In the defense with Benjamin Walker's modification on the first page, that Hill-troll in question is now considered a dual role for the actor which you are free to re-add if he starts to get more appearances. As for the character pages, there are too many "created by Tolkien", "introduced in season one", and "introduced in season two" sub-headings that would be confusing if anyone wants to edit to the sections of the respectful races of Middle-earth and someone clicks the sub-heading on the history page or their special contributions page that would not take them to the race introduction in question. Listing the orcs and trolls in the same introduction would make it seem like they are the same species like how they treated the Middle-earth goblins as lesser orcs. At least you got to restore what Bronwyn died from in a follow-up edit. Did I leave anything out? Rtkat3 (talk) 14:50, 31 August 2024 (UTC)
- Benjamin Walker has a dual role but one of them is not one of the major characters of the show. If we were to include it at The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power then I would definitely argue against giving Damrod his own bullet point. And at the moment it isn't clear whether it will be big enough to be noteworthy at the series article. So far it has only been one short line of voice over.
- It is not uncommon for there to be multiple "introduced in season one" headings on a character list. It is unfortunate that the edit summary links will go to the wrong place, but I don't think that justifies the other issues with your changes. Since this is a common issue for multiple TV articles, perhaps we should raise it at WP:TV to see if others have an opinion on the best approach?
- The sections are not divided by race/species, otherwise Low Men, High Men, and Easterlings would all be in the same section. The sections are based on culture, in the same way that the designs and musical themes are divided for the series. So while Orcs and Trolls are not the same species, they are part of the same culture. If you have a suggestion for a more inclusive heading then I am all ears.
- I believe this change should cover the Bronwyn bit.
- adamstom97 (talk) 15:30, 31 August 2024 (UTC)
- This is my reply to @Adamstom.97. We'll still have to keep an eye on Damrod's appearance as the current season progresses. If you want the common issue that you just mentioned to be raised at WP:TV, let me know and I'm sure a solution can be obtained. The Low Men, High Men, and Easterlings are the current branches of the Men of Middle-earth. We should keep an eye on if any other Men show up in the possible seasons to come. I did give you a thanks for your amending of Bronwyn. Rtkat3 (talk) 15:34, 31 August 2024 (UTC)
- I have gone over the MOS again and replacing the headings with bold text seems to be a last resort only, so our options are to keep the duplicate headings or change to the version where we repeat the culture in each subheading. I personally think the repetitive headings are considerably worse than the duplicate ones, and I have found character lists at Good Article and Featured List level that have duplicate headings. My feeling is we should be fine to keep them as is, but if you feel strongly about the duplicate headings being an issue then I will start that discussion at WP:TV. - adamstom97 (talk) 16:16, 31 August 2024 (UTC)

Uncited claim at Trolls in Middle-earth
[edit]Not quite sure what's happening here: you added a minor citation for an actor, but left out the main citation for the whole claim. Since the article is a GA we don't want uncited claims sitting about, so if you want it to say, please add the citation. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 15:50, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
- This is my reply to @Chiswick Chap. I have added a citation to follow up Damrod's role in the first episode. If you don't feel that it would be good enough, feel free to add another citation. Rtkat3 (talk) 15:55, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
- Not my job to cited RoP materials. If you're nervous about citation quality, you should certainly not be adding the materials. But as for "better", a valid citation is a big improvement on nothing. Whether it's adequate is a different question. Chiswick Chap (talk) 15:57, 3 September 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Unseen character, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 14:51, 28 September 2024 (UTC)
- This is my reply to @Doniago. That part is known after finding examples on that WP you provided. I did leave an episode source for my partial revision with a question about it in my edit summary. Do you think references like that are good enough? Rtkat3 (talk) 17:34, 28 September 2024 (UTC)
- No. Per WP:IPCV, for "in popular culture" examples, you should provide secondary sources. Additionally, I don't think a character can be called an 'unseen character' bassed on a single episode in any case. DonIago (talk) 22:54, 28 September 2024 (UTC)
