Made no sense to me, it looks like a promotion of some organisation or website. - Mailer Diablo 02:44, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Hi, no please don't delete this! it's not an organisation or an advertisement or anything. it is this imaginary country that a group of harvard undergrads established a few years ago - think of it like the onion magazine and is not intended for commercial purposes. it would mean a lot to us if you didn't delete the post. thanks. seh. ...posted at 02:53, 2005 Mar 13 by User:129.67.43.241 (the same IP as that used to create the article)
- Uh... sorry, in that statement you said exactly why it must be Deleted: "It is this imaginary country that a group of harvard unergrads established a few years ago". If anything, I'd place it as a website: http://www.shakalistan.org/. Now, I don't mean any offense here, but if all there is to it is a bit under 40 people... It's not notable enough for an encyclopedia. It's not an issue of free expression or anything else, but rather an issue of: is it well enough known that people on the other side of the world might look for it? That's how I'm viewing this... It's interesting, yes, but... not really well known enough to go on here. This is a place to go AFTER you're very well known, not when you've just been running something for less than three years... Ok, time's not a major factor but... Anyways, try again when you're more well known, we'll be waiting for you. Wakuseino 03:54, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- can we move it to a website (http://www.shakalistan.org) entry? - seh ...posted at 04:13, 2005 Mar 13 by User:129.67.43.241 (the same IP as that used to create the article)
- You could, but I'm afraid shakalistan.org would be deleted too... the main thing is, you guys just aren't notable enough yet... Sorry to have to put it like that, but... Wakuseino 04:18, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete Its non-encyclopedic vanity Dabbler 02:57, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- I think it is creative and interesting and in the interests of free expression it should be allowed. Jacob R. ... posted at 02:59, 2005 Mar 13 by User:129.67.43.241 (the same IP as that used to create the article)
- Keep It is not non-encyclopedic, but if it must be deleted, i would rather it be moved to the bad jokes etc.. section - Orkan ... posted at 03:23, 2005 Mar 13 by User:129.67.43.241 (the same IP as that used to create the article)

- Delete. Noble, possible. Notable, not. No influence, no importance, no fame, no point in having an article. Average Earthman 14:00, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- Delete and possibly block IP for sockpuppet abuse Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 14:34, Mar 14, 2005 (UTC)
- Comment: And very amateurish sockpuppet abuse it was too: the same IP number was refraining from hitting the twiddle key and using various names, without bothering to create even a single ID. (Of course, it could have been a group of chums around the same computer.) Anyway, "student" life these days seems really boring. -- Hoary 15:50, 2005 Mar 14 (UTC)

Delete I'm sorry, but I really have to, despite not wanting to. While I will give you that some people on this site are prone to thoughtless deletion of even the most legitimate articles (a.k.a., Eyre family), this simply isn't well known enough. It is quite fascinating and creative, though! I'm going to visit your website.
