How to cook dandelions was apparently transwikied and marked for deletion in the past, possibly with or without a discussion on VFD (there's an archive, but it's in the "User:" space). Let's make a decision and get rid of the notices on the top of the page one way or another. - RedWordSmith 17:37, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Speedy delete, if it has been transwikied. Geogre 19:57, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Do not speedy. I will merge and redirect. Our coverage of food is spotty.--Samuel J. Howard 22:54, Sep 6, 2004 (UTC)

WHOA!!! Where did this go? I merged the encyclopedic content. Deleting it now violates GDFL.--18:16, Sep 7, 2004 (UTC)
- OK, I brought it back. Dunno whether I did right or not, but I figure we can talk about it. [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 19:23, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- sorry if that was a bit strident, I wouldn't mind being able to delete it, but as I understand it, since some of the content was merged with Dandelion it is now not possible under the GDFL to delete it. The redirect was harmless.--Samuel J. Howard 21:18, Sep 7, 2004 (UTC)
- Comment: Since the article has been resurrected, I think I can point out that a look at Talk:Dandelion now reveals that the original contents of this page actually started life as a part of Dandelion and were removed from it. Also, I don't see a comment on either history page noting the merge. Even stranger, the comments stating that the How to cook dandelions page was spun off are from 2003, but this article was created in Feb 2004. This is insane! - RedWordSmith 21:24, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)
