I really like Sasuke's current image,he's sooo cool!!! Besides, his "Sasuke, age 8" picture is sooo cute!!! I hope no one changes it,and, does anyone know who put that main picture there? (The big one above his biodata.) Thanks...Zachary crimsonwolf 12:04, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Naruto Arc II
Please pardon me, but I don't see how Sasuke's "killer intent" made Sai fall on his behind. Manga chapter 301 shows a giant Sharingan looming over Sai in a rather psychedelic setting, which is too obviously an illusion. So GhostStalker, why reject the idea that it's a genjutsu probally because they saw me and i said BOO and they got scared.
If mere "killing intent" had such a powerful effect (on an ANBU-level ninja at that!), looks-that-stun would be pretty common. Besides, I think it would take more than a plain stare to introduce fear into Mr Emotionless. Genjutsu would do it. The Sharingan is quite capable of that. --Lionelster 03:11, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
The only reason I say its killer intent and not a genjutsu is because that how it was interpreted on Leafninja. If you guys feel that that was a genjutsu instead of just plain killer intent, I wont question it. --GhostStalker 14:53, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
I think the reason people disagree that it's genjutsu is because we haven't seen Sasuke perform genjutsu before. On the other hand, killer intent has been seen several times. Example: Anime Ep. 135/Manga Ch. 238 p. 3 where Sasuke strikes fear into Kabuto, a Kakashi-level ninja, with the strength of his chakra. Kabuto jerks back in fear, sweat drops, the whole thing. The second time we see this in the anime is ep 170 when Whatshisname gasps in fear and drops his head after Sasuke glares at him. It's an anime-only storyline, but it's also the only time we've seen this character since episode 135. The 'psychedelic setting' we see with Sai in Ch. 301 could be an artistic interpretation of the fear Sai is now experiencing for the first time ever. If it was the first time I'd ever felt fear, I might fall over too. To sum up, I think there are arguments to be made on both sides, but categorizing it as genjutsu is probably premature without additional evidence. -- Meersan 00:38, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- Addition, "killing intent" is indeed pretty common, see Orochimaru vs. Sasuke and Sakura in the Chûnin Exam and even Orochimaru vs. Kakashi in Ep. 40 mark 15:30. Meersan 00:46, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- It's possible that Orochimaru taught Sasuke his version of Kanashibari no Jutsu; as stated above, when he used it, it was basically just killer intent/bloodlust. Thus, it would be ninjutsu, not genjutsu. SpionKop 01:01, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- Killer intent is a common idea in japanese anime. It's not nessacarily something active like a genjutsu, it's more like a evil aura. anonymous 00:42, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
Naruto box

Naruto/Sasuke Yaoi
Is this really necessary? This is mearly a fandom among female fans. The two characters are obvious not gay in Kishimoto's story and this dose not need a whole section or even a paragraph. --SwordKirby537 18:20, 17 September 2005 (UTC)
- I dislike Yaoi myself so I distrusted my initial instinct to just do away with it, but prompted by your comment I think I'll just go ahead and act on it. -AceMyth 18:56, 17 September 2005 (UTC)
- Personally, I'm a great fan of Yaoi, especially of NaruSasu. However, I don't think it has a place on this page. Yaoi pairings exist of practically every male manga character, it's nothing special. The only thing which might make Naruto and Sasuke's relation more special then other Yaoi pairings, is that, for a shounen manga, their relationship is very deep and emotional. Not to mention the enourmous amount of Shounen-ai scenes ^^
- Still, even this isn't that special or unique. And it wouldn't justify a seperate section. A small footnote, perhaps...not it's own heading--JadziaLover 19:15, 17 September 2005 (UTC)
- Naruto has acknowledged Sasuke as being like a brother to him, so that might change the Yaoi perspective, at least from Naruto's standpoint?
i hate yaoi, but we gotta admit that Naruto's seeming obliviousness toward any female's attraction to him makes him and sasuke prime yaoi-bait
- Him being oblivious makes him kind of an idiot (Sakura often says he's an idiot anyway), not gay. But I agree with you, I hate yaoi. That's probably 'cause I'm a dude though, who finds yuri entertaining (:P). The Wretched 03:49, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- It doesnt have a place in an encyclopedia article though... --GhostStalker 05:29, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
Umm...everyone,I don't like to disturb your merry discussion, but can anyone please explain who yaoi is? Pretty please, with sugar tops! Thanks!!!Zachary crimsonwolf 12:08, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yaoi is not a who, but a type of genre in manga. It focuses on homosexual relationships between male characters and is generally sexually explicit. Yuri is the same thing, except with females. Sasuke-kun27 19:37, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- Unless Kishimoto provides sufficient evidence to say otherwise, it is safe to say that no such relationship exists in the Naruto series and thus should not be included in this article.
Yaoi's are hot! Don't exclude them! I mean, sure they're grosss and totally not necesarry but they're entertaiment.
That's WHY they were created. BUT all in all... I AGREE -Maymi Hatake
I don't really like yoai either...especially this pairing. I mean, why would Hinata have such a huge crush on Naruto if Kishimoto didn't intend for them to eventually get together? And if Sasuke's goal is to kill Itatchi and REVIVE HIS CLAN, well how is he supposed to do that with Naruto, or any other guy?
Someone told me an interview with Kishimoto revealed that Team 7 was supposed to be a love triangle, with Naruto lusting after Sakura who lusted after Sasuke who lusted after Naruto... anyone know where such an interview could be found? 152.13.43.73 19:44, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, in a fanfic. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 20:01, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
I don't think that Sasuke can be gay, because in the second part of the Chunin exam, the Forest of Death, when Sakura was injured by Zaku, Sasuke wanted to punish him (and dislocated his shoulders) , so I beleive that that's a sign of affection for Sakura.--Konichiwa.mia34-- 24 February 2007
Sasuke's name?
Sasuke is named after "Sarotobi Sasuke" or something right? Well I went to the article, and took the kanji characters, and I got two that kind of mean the same thing: help(佐助). So shouldn't this be in the Trivia section? I'm just checking.
- I'm unsure about this, although I can definitely confirm that they use the Kanji pronounciation in the Madarin dub ("Zhou Zhu").
Why should Sasuke give a crap about his clan I mean Naruto had it worst then him he didn't have any parents, doesn't have any friends, crappy at jutsu, and suffered from something he didn't cause.Sasuke on the other hand had natural talent, the girls loved him,and if he's going to restore his clan than then whats the fuzz
- What does this have to do with his name? Observation 12:29, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
Question
I just have a question. When Sasuke and Naruto fought for the last time, it seemed as though their powers were equally matched. However, does that imply that if Sasuke used a higher level of the Cursed Seal, he would have become more powerful than Naruto even while he was using the Nine-Tails' chakra?
- Probably not. I'm pretty sure it's stated in the data books that the Heaven Seal (which Anko and Sasuke both have) is the strongest type of seal, and so far no evidence of anything above Level 2 Cursed Seals exist.
23:07, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
- And Naruto could've used a two-tails (or higher) transformation which could match (or overpower) Sasuke. --Beef noodles 23:08, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
It was somewhere that Sasuke had the power of his ancestor, Madara Uchiha. At that time, Kyuubi said that Madara had chakra more wicked than his own. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.135.160.121 (talk • contribs) .
Also, at the last second, instead of killing Sasuke a killing blow he just scratched his forhead protecter, whether to make a point to Sasuke or not to kill him, or both. So Naruto was definitely not weaker at the time.MoChan 23:11, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- Did it ever accur to anyone that Naruto didn't kill Sasuke (or at least harm him) becuase he had someone's fist driven right into his gut and that he couldn't reach Sasuke? Besides, unless someone can tell me how this speculation could improve the article, we should just stop talking right here (seeing as how Wikipedia is not a forum and should be used to discuss changes to the article). // Sasuke-kun27 23:26, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Recieveing the family crest
this is a quote from the article:
Sasuke (age 8 at the time) eventually succeeds in performing the jutsu in front of his father, surprising him. At that moment, Sasuke finally receives his father's recognition and the right to wear the clan's emblem on his back, a sign of adulthood.
Now, I've never read the manga, so I don't know if it's the same there, but in the Naruto anime, Sasuke already has the crest, before ever learning the jutsu. In all the flashbacks he has of himself as a child, he has the family crest on the back of his shirt, but it isn't until episode 130 that his father attempts to teach him the jutsu, at which time, Sasuke is also shown with the family crest on the back of his shirt. Is this a blooper from the animators' side or is something else wrong? Hecko 19:45, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- Hecko is right, the article is partially incorrect. "The Uchiha clan sees one as as an adult when they can use the Katon technique", however Sasuke already wears the crest on his clothing before he learns to perform the jutsu. In the translations I've seen, his father says he can now wear the crest 'proudly' or 'without shame'. Manga Ch. 233 p. 14. Going to change it. -- Meersan 01:00, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
Sasuke's Birthday
Guys, i confused with Sasuke's date of birth. Here it's 23 of January, on Leafninja.com it's 23 of July. I asked them where did they take the information from, and they said it's from Data-book. So, which date is the correct?
- It's July 23rd, according to the Second Databook. Kylara 20:04, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
Heroes who turned evil
Would Sasuke qualify for this category? Although he is shown to be loyal to Orochimaru, a character alleged to be irredemible, does Sasuke show enough malicious qualities to be regarded as truly evil? Or, to take a more relativistic stance, does the author of the manga depict him in a manner inferring that the author regards him as such? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.24.232.29 (talk • contribs) 04:39, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think he's evil, He could have killed Naruto if he really wanted to.. And he doesn't address Orochimaru as sensei like he did Kakashi. all he wants is power. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sasuke006 (talk • contribs) 17:24, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- I can't recall any instance where he ever called Kakashi "sensei" either. He's quite rude. 216.176.105.92 20:34, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- It is debatable, because any character who wants the death of the protagonist can be considered "evil" -- she chapter 308 of the manga. If it wasn't for Sai, Sasuke's sword would've pierced Naruto already. Also, he doesn't NEED to addresss Orochimaru as 'sensei' to be considered bad himself -- it is most likely his own way of feeling superior towards Orochimaru. In my opinion, anyone who wants to commit homicide to the protagonist for a selfish reason should be considered evil in a story. Observation 17:57, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not really a Sasuke fan but in my opinion, Sasuke should not be considered evil yet. He tried to kill Naruto because he's just 'asking for it'. Sasuke's ultimate goal is to kill Itachi and he won't be able to do it without Orochimaru. Naruto once again tried to interfere with his goal (by rescuing him from Orochimaru) and Sasuke would just not allow it. There was no indication that Sasuke made any attempts to deliberately seek Naruto and kill him. Sasuke should be more of an anti-hero. --Beef noodles 01:27, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
well, Sasuke is on the "good side", but his close call with Naruto doesnn't make him "evil" or at least completly evil, it probly may have been a moment of rage, or the point where he's just had too much, like how siblings fight often and have physical contact. Also, heros can be rude, but that won't make them evil.--Katey100 00:10, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
- Sasuke may have been "swayed" to be evil, much like Anakin Skywalker did, both swayed on the basis of acquiring power. I may be seeing patterns here between the two characters... Sasuke acquiring power to avenge his family and kill Itachi. Anakin acquiring power to avenge his mother's death. The two did not matter if they are swayed to be evil as long as they acquire power. Sasuke not using Sharingan on Naruto on the second part of the manga while Anakin dealt Luke with less hostilities in The Empire Strikes Back. I would bet Sasuke will be going back to the good much like Anakin did in Return of the Jedi... might not be in a dying fashion but who knows? I'm just speculating, but I'll be very interested how Sasuke's character will develop from here on out. --Francis820 07:23, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
- I think I agree with this Francis820 guy, its possible he'll be good again but it might be after he kills Itachi, or he might do an act of self sacrifice when Naruto and the others will be in danger but he might just sacrifice himself by saying something arrogant and selfish without showing much compassion in it, either that or he'll just no longer be evil nor good and just remain a missing-nin so he wont have to go back to Konoha in shame, but one thing is for sure Rock Lee is still the most awesome nin WOO-HOO!! --Xer, Rock Lee's #1 FAN ??:??, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- I think he does deserve to go in that category. He wishes for the death of the protagonist of the series for a selfish reason and is allied with the primary evil of the series. No matter what the Sasuke fanboys believe, he is as evil as Saruman, so my vote is in favor of him being placed in the category. Treima 01:50, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- Treima, I disagree. In my opinion, whether a person is evil depends on his motive. Saruman seeks to use power to dominate the world. His development and actions would come at other people's expenses and liberty. While Sasuke's motive is personal and is against the one person who has caused him suffering and pain. Sasuke does not intend to hurt other people but Itachi, unless they voluntarily stand in his way. I'd argue that Sasuke's more like the Count of Monte Cristo than Saruman. --Sphinxridd 14:56, 1 December 2006 (EST)
- I agree with Treima, Sasuke's only goal is vengence. He currently has complete disregard for anything but acheiving his goal, regardless of the consiquences. That my friends, is the defination of evil. Sasuke should be moved to the villians. Xeago 21:13, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- so tell me this - what, in your mind, should a person do if his parents were killed by his brother? Forgive and forget? Please try to imagine what that must feel like. You wake up one morning, and all you held dear was gone. Itachi's crime is so unforgivable that it makes Sasuke's reaction, i.e. seeking vengence, somewhat understandable.--Sphinxridd 21:49, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- It's not the want of revenge that makes Sasuke's current path evil, it's his complete disregard for all else but the pursuit of the power he deems neccesary for that revenge. He has become consumed with hatred for his brother, that hatred has corrupted his core value system and caused him to seek out Orochimaru to gain power by any means. He has lost any upstanding moral character. He has sided with the enemy of his former home. Yes, Itachi's violations agains Sasuke were most heinous, but it was the choice to abandon all else for the power to kill his brother that classes Sasuke as a villian in this story.
- well said. you convinced me. --Sphinxridd 23:25, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
- His antithesis is Naruto, who uses his bond to Sasuke to fuel his desire for the power he needs to "rescue" him. These deal with core themes in the manga, unconditional love, and violation of common familial values. Also, Sasuke has become an antagonist, that alone warrants the need for the move. Xeago 23:56, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Sasuke's obsession with vengence has obviously gone too far, therefore turning him evil, but, correct me if I'm wrong, I read in the article about Orochimaru that in the end, Sasuke not only refuses to kill his opponents after defeating them, but also betrays and attacks Orochimaru. Isn't that proof that there's some good left in him? -- Konichiwa.mia34-- 24 February 2007
- He attacks Orochimaru sick on his bed by surprise while he's already coughing up blood. He also says he'll kill him even if he begs for mercy. He used up Orochimaru and now moves on. Nothing good about it, he's not even after a fair fight. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.82.143.200 (talk) 16:06, 24 February 2007 (UTC).
hmm, you may have a point. but what about the not-killing-the-defeated-opponents thing? or maybe that was just because he couldn't be bothered. you're right; nothing good about that. (Konichiwa.mia34 13:42, 25 February 2007 (UTC))
- And someone said Sasuke had a sense of honor. attacking someone when they're coughing up blood... not very honorific. But, it does prove that he is not exactly evil. He knows what Orochi is. All in all, it really depends on your definition of evil. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.229.190.227 (talk) 15:43, 26 February 2007 (UTC).
there are so many ways to look at it, I don't even know what to think anymore! I'd say he's half-evil, half-good. plain and simple (well, it's anything BUT simple, but you know what I mean). Konichiwa.mia34 21:53, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
To be fair, if Sasuke doesn't kill Orochimaru now he could take over his body once the time limit is up.Animalia555 15:05, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Early Childhood
Itachi said that Sasuke was not even worth killing. To be precise, Itachi told him "You've always wanted to surpass me. That's why I'm going to let you live."
I'm not sure if this portion of the copyedit (diff) makes sense. "To be precise" doesn't seem like the right phrasing because Itachi says both of these things. "You've always wanted to surpass me (etc)" (manga ch 224 p 19/anime ep 131 ~9:00), followed by "You aren't even worth killing" (manga ch 225 p 5/anime ep 131 ~11:00). I think a line of explanation works better to tie in the rivalry theme addressed in the 1st paragraph of the section but I'll leave it to someone else to decide. Either way it should probably be rephrased. - Meersan 06:44, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Sannin Trivia
In one of the trivia bullets it says that in chapter 4 Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto are standing on the three sannin's summons, or something similar (particularly Gama Bunta, Katsuyu, and Manda) but the summons shown are obviously not any of these three. Should this trivia bullet be changed? It is also on the Sakura page. This is the referred to page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:NarutoCh4.jpg Blademaster313 02:38, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
Requested move
Uchiha Sasuke → Sasuke Uchiha – As pointed out in Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Anime_and_manga#Naruto_character_article_titles, the current names for articles about Naruto characters are inconsistent with the names used for other anime characters (Naruto characters use Japanese order for names, while most other anime characters have their name in Western order), as well not following the naming guidelines in WP:MOS-JA.

- Name order is in no way a part of the art. Their names aren't puns or anything like that so using he western name order has no bearing on the series. And, like they said, the matter's closed. Too late now. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 19:18, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

- Ooo, two names. Forgive the sarcasm, but you you can mention that as trivia in their respective trivia sections. Western order is what readers here will be familiar with, so we use it. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 00:14, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
Wow. If you actually knew japanese, you'd know that there are a lot more than that, such as Orochimaru (Orochi-large snake)(Maru-japanese boy's name). The list goes on and on, but my memory has better things to hold.
I don't see the point of using Western Order if it's a Japanese anime. If the origin of the name has the surname of the person/chracter first, leave it be. And to rebuke the "Western" order", then why not change other names, say...Chiang Kai Shek? Why is it not changed to Kai Shek Chiang to make it more "familiar" to the Western readers?
I agree completely, there is no need to Americanise everything. -Bloodloss

The fillers would never, ever kill off Sasuke. They are merely a fake story written by the animation team, and eventually it will be on track with the manga again... so I sincerely doubt they'd ever mess it up that badly. -Bloodloss
- Any chance to rag on the fillers, right? :-/ That question was made by someone after Cartoon Network reran the episode where Haku turned Sasuke into a human pincushion, and put him into a 'temporary death-like state'. --Gero 08:42, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Know it? Thanks anyway. I will really appreciate it if you could change it. But someone else might change it again though...ah, well, let's see what happens first. Sorry for calling you umm...not nice? By the way, I was trying to be polite there, not whiny, but I guess I screwed up...well, all I can say is that I meant no offence when I called you not nice. I like the current picture because it's more in character. The last one (where 'Sasuke' is smiling with trees in the background) was actually of Naruto, who had transformed himself to look like Sasuke. Ref anime Ep. 3. He was smiling because he was actually Naruto... -- Meersan 23:56, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- While I agree with the sentiment, I must correct you. That smiling Sasuke pic was not of the transformed Naruto. It was of the actual Sasuke teasing Naruto for freezing up during the attack by the Demon Brothers in episode 5-7 (one of those). – Someguy0830 (T | C) 00:00, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Hey guys, some of you might know that I'm fairly new to all this. What I'm trying to do is make more connections between where a technique or person or something is mentioned and where it is described. Can some one give me a quick rundown on how to do that? I checked the help page and it didnt really explain it. thanks Xeago 00:22, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

What's with all the vandalism? Of the last 50 edits only 8 have been non-vandalism or reverting of it. Does this page need to be semi-protected? Sharingan?
IDK If anyone noticed, but during his fight with Naruto, Sasuke briefly had a different Sharingan. What was it.? 70.153.236.109 19:22, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
I assume you're referring to when he was standing on the log and an extra dot appeared in his eyes. It's basically just the regular Sharingan getting better and more developed. When Sasuke first gets sharingan in his fight with Haku, he has two dots in one eye, and one dot in the second. By the chunin exam he has two dots in both. This just meant he had developed it further. If this isn't what you meant then point out what you did mean, as it may be something I missed completely. Retlor 00:22, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

- That's just Sasuke's way of doing things - testing out his own strength against a weakened Oro and Kabuto. He might as well fight it before Oro is healed. Something new might be revealed of Oro or Kabuto, and Sasuke's motive.
- I never thought I'd say it, but Sasuke's turning into a little Itachi! Itachi said that he killed his own clan to test his strength, or power... something like that, and that's what Sasuke's doing. Current Arc
An edit I made which was previously reverted back was where I changed "Itachi is the only one I want to kill," to "They aren't the ones I want to kill." This is significant, as it implies there is more then one person he wants to kill. He even says when he attacks Orochimaru that "you [Orochimaru] are one of the ones I [Sasuke] want to kill."
Animalia555 15:00, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- In regards to the first, Sasuke was referring to the ninjas that just died. He did not want to kill them, thus they are not the ones he wanted to kill. Saying "They are not the one I wanted to kill," makes for an awkward sentence.
- The second is ambiguous. Because he wants to kill both Orochimaru and Itachi, he sorta' had to use a plural prepositional object. This may or may not have extended to Team 7 or to anyone else. For now, we'll just have to use the evidence that we have and assume that it's just those first two. Smaller assumptions make for lower chances of fatal error. Catchphrase?
Their respective articles note that Sakura says "Chandarou" a lot, and of course Naruto has "-ttebayo", but what about the fact that Sasuke says something like, "Uza na Tonkachi" whenever someone annoys him? That might merit inclusion in the article (although it might count as non-canon); are the catch-phrases of the other two based on a canon source, or is it just completely obvious?
Tonkachi means "hammer," doesn't it? And is the Usa/Uza related to "Uzai," "annoying?" Is that some dialect thing, possibly because Kishimoto's apparently a hick, changing the "-i" adjective to a "na" adjective, or am I totally misinterpreting the phrase? It seems odd to me that the cool guy every girl in Konohagakure has a crush on...calls people "ninnyhammer" when they bug him.
Am I wrong in my interpretation? I've never seen the phrase written in Japanese; does anyone happen to know what it is Sasuke always calls people? 71.223.169.27 17:38, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

- Sasuke copied some Strong Fist moves, but he didn't master the style to the same degree as Lee and Guy. Furthermore, with all of Sasuke's fire-based moves and Chidori variants, Strong Fist is heavily overshadowed. The list in the infobox is only there for the character's unique, repeatedly-used, theme-based, or otherwise "signature" techniques. You Can't See Me! 06:35, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Recent Chapter
As per Chapter 345, can it be relatively assumed that the "soul ritual" that Orochimaru attempted was Living Corpse Reincarnation? Furthermore, as the flashback scene was likely the indication of Orochimaru attempting to take Itachi's body - given that Orochimaru comments on the similarities between the two incidents -, as well as Sasuke facing Orochimaru during the process without so much as blinking an eye, that the process, at least to some degree, was unsuccessful? Again, this is obviously speculation, but a clarification on what to place on the page at the moment would be nice. Sephiroth BCR 01:47, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes to the first, yes to the second, wait and see for the third. You Can't See Me! 04:53, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- In Chapter 346 (which, although has not yet been released in its integrity, has had three of its pages released on the Net), shows that Sasuke defeated Orochimaru. So yes, the Living Corpse Reincarnation was unsuccessful.

Sasuke's mother.
His early background information does not mention his mother.
While his father neglected Sasuke for the most part and Itachi always broke his promises to spend quality time with him, he went to his mother and complained about it.
He asks, "Why does Father only talk about Big Brother?"
His mother answers, "When your father and I are alone, he only talks about you."
I think this piece is important enough to be included in the entry.
